2. Get sick cattle checked out as soon as possible.

6.     Inspect stock closely, particularly focusing on the lining of the mouth and nose and the coronary band (where the hoof stops and the skin starts).

7.     Proper hygiene and cleanliness at castration and other surgical procedures should be observed.
